HMDX Audio helps create your perfect sleep environment. Fall asleep to any of the six calming sounds, then wake to iPod, sounds, radio, or beep tone. The unit can also mask distractions to improve your concentration while you read, work or study.

Before You Begin

The unit uses a backup battery system to provide continuous alarm and clock settings in the event of a power failure. Two ???AA??? batteries (included) must be inserted into the battery compartment if memory backup is desired. When the backup battery is installed, in the event of a power failure or the DC cord is accidentally disconnected, the LCD display will not remain lit, but the current time and alarm time settings will be temporarily maintained.

Getting Started

Setting Clock Time

1.Press the TIME SET BUTTON located on the top of the unit (Fig. 1); hour digit will begin flashing. Turn the SET +/- KNOB until the current hour is displayed. Remember to set the correct AM or PM (an icon in the upper left of the time display is the PM INDICATOR; there is no AM indicator) (Fig. 2).

2.Press the TIME SET BUTTON again; minute digits will begin flashing. Turn the SET +/- KNOB until the current minute is displayed.

3.Press the TIME SET BUTTON again to exit the clock setting mode or after 5 seconds the display will stop flashing to indicate the time is set.

Install/Replace Backup Battery

1.Make sure the DC adaptor is connected. Otherwise the time setting may be lost during battery replacement.

2.Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit.

3.Insert two AA batteries, checking that the positive polarity matches the picture in the battery housing.

4.Close the compartment cover.

Battery Precautions

1.Use only the size and type of batteries specified.

2.When installing batteries, observe proper +/ ??? polarities. Incorrect installation of battery may cause damage to unit.

3.Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. alkaline with carbon-zinc or old batteries with new ones).

4.If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.

5.Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.

Charging your iPod

Select the correct insert for your particular iPod model from the chart below:

When you want to connect a different size iPod, remove the insert from the unit and replace with the correct size insert. To remove dock insert, place fingernail in slot on insert (Fig 3) and gently pull up. You must always use the appropriate size insert for your iPod. You may contact HMDX Audio Consumer Relations at 1-800-466-3342 to order the correct insert for your iPod. Note: Make sure you are using the correct insert for your iPod and that it is properly docked in the unit. Failure to do so may damage your iPod.

1.Before you begin, remove your iPod from its case or ???skin???. Place insert in dock, being sure that the two plastic tabs face the front of

the unit. Press insert into place, ensuring it is firmly placed in the dock. Carefully place your

iPod into the docking area so that the pin connector in the dock is fully connected to

the pin socket on the bottom of your iPod (Fig. 5).

2. Your iPod will then begin charging, until fully charged.

NOTE: Your iPod will charge even if the POWER button is turned off. The unit only needs to be plugged in for the iPod to charge.

3.To remove/replace an insert, first remove your iPod, then place fingernail in slot on insert (Fig. 3) and gently pull up.

Listening to Your iPod

1.Press the POWER BUTTON on the HMDX Audio unit (Fig. 1).

2.Toggle through the AUDIO BUTTON to play the iPod (Fig. 1). The IPOD ICON will appear on the LCD display on the right side of the clock, to indicate that the iPod mode has been selected.

Note: When the iPod is docked and in standby mode, it will automatically begin playing once the iPod mode is selected on the unit.

3.Press the PLAY/PAUSE button on your iPod to pause play; press play again to resume play.

4.Turn the VOLUME KNOB (Fig. 1) on the unit to adjust the system volume.

5.Press the or on your iPod to go to the next or previous track.

6.To turn unit off, press the POWER BUTTON. The iPod will continue charging in the dock.

Listening to a non-docking iPod or other portable audio devices

If you are using an iPod without a docking port, other MP3 player, or other portable audio device, you can play it through the HMDX Audio C20 via the LINE IN located on the back of the unit (Fig. 6).

1.Plug one end of the Connection Cable (included) into the headphone or line- out jack on your audio device and the other end of the Connection Cable into the unit LINE IN, located on the back of the unit.

2.Press the POWER BUTTON on the unit to turn it on (Fig. 1).

3.Toggle through the AUDIO BUTTON on the unit until you reach the auxiliary mode. The AUX ICON (Fig 2) will appear in the right side of the clock, to indicate that the auxiliary mode has been selected.

4.Turn on and play external audio device.

5.Turn on VOLUME KNOB (Fig 1) on the unit to adjust the system volume.

Note: You may need to adjust the volume on external device also.

6.To turn off the unit, press the

POWER BUTTON on the top of the unit.

Note: You may need to turn off

your external audio device as

well.

Nature Sounds

1.Press the POWER BUTTON on the unit to turn it on (Fig. 1).

2.Select the Sounds button to toggle through the different nature sounds (Fig 1). They will be shown on the bottom of the LCD display, below the time. (FIg. 2)

3.Turn the VOLUME KNOB on the unit to adjust the volume (Fig. 1).

4.To turn off the nature sounds, press the POWER BUTTON to turn the unit off, or switch the audio mode by pressing the AUDIO BUTTON (Fig. 1).

Note: When the unit is turned on, it will always default to the last mode used.

Listening to the Radio

FM Antenna

Extend FM wire antenna fully for best FM reception (do not strip, alter or attach to other antennas).

AM Antenna

Snap the AM loop antenna into the base provided. Next, plug the AM loop antenna into the connecter located on the back of the unit for best AM reception (Fig. 7).

1. Press the POWER BUTTON on the

unit to turn it on (Fig. 1).

2. Toggle through the AUDIO BUTTON to play the radio (Fig. 1).

The RADIO ICON will appear on the right side of the clock (Fig. 2).

3.To choose between FM or AM radio, press the AUDIO BUTTON again. The FM or AM icon will show on the left side of the clock to indicate the band that is selected (Fig. 2).

4.Turn the SET +/- knob on the unit to tune in the desired station (Fig. 1).

5.Turn the VOLUME KNOB on the unit to adjust the system volume (Fig. 1).

6.To turn off the unit, press the POWER BUTTON.

Using Auto-Timer

While listening to your iPod, the nature sounds, or the radio, you may set a timer so the unit will turn off automatically after so many minutes.

1.Toggle through the TIMER BUTTON until the time of your choice, 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes, is shown on the LCD.

2.To cancel the timer, toggle through the TIMER BUTTON until OFF is shown on the LCD.

Setting And Using The Alarms

Setting Alarm1 or Alarm2 (Individually)

1.Press the AL1/AL2 button (Fig. 1). The AL1 or AL2 ICON will appear in the upper right corner of the LCD display to indicate which alarm is activated.

2.Press the AL SET BUTTON twice (Fig. 1); hour digits will begin flashing. Turn the SET +/- KNOB until the desired hour is displayed. Remember to set the correct time of day, AM or PM (an icon to the left of the time display is the PM INDICATOR; there is no AM indicator) (Fig. 2).

3.Press the AL SET BUTTON again; minute digits will begin flashing. Turn the SET +/- KNOB until the desired minute is displayed.

4.Press the AL SET BUTTON again to exit the alarm setting mode or after 5 seconds the display will stop flashing to indicate the alarm is set.

Note: You can press the AL SET BUTTON at any time to review the alarm setting.

5.Toggle through the AL MODE BUTTON until the corresponding icon lights on the LCD screen for the wake mode of your choice: i.Pod, sound, radio, or beep (Fig. 2).

Note: To wake to iPod, your iPod must be properly docked in the unit, or alarm will default to beep wake mode.

Note: When using the sound mode, the unit will set to the last sound you listened to. If you wish to change it, first, press the POWER button to turn the unit on, then press the SOUND button and toggle through until the sound of your choice is shown on the LCD display, then press the POWER button to turn the unit off.

6.When the alarm is sounding, press the POWER BUTTON on the unit to turn the alarm OFF. The alarm will come on again at the same time on the next day.

7.To stop the alarm from coming on the next day, press the AL1/AL2 BUTTON until the AL1 or AL2 icon disappears on the LCD display. If the icon disappears, this indicates the alarm is disarmed.

Note: If the alarm sounds for 30 minutes continuously it will automatically turn off and reset for the next day.

Setting Alarm1 and Alarm2 (Together)

1.Press the AL1/AL2 button (Fig. 1) until both AL1 and AL2 icons appear in the upper right hand corner of the LCD display to indicate that both alarms are activated (Fig. 2).

Note: You cannot change the alarm time when BOTH alarms are selected. If you need to change the alarm time for either alarm, follow step 1 under Setting Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 (Individually).

2.Toggle through the AL MODE BUTTON until the corresponding icon lights on the LCD screen for the wake mode of your choice: iPod, sound, radio, or beep (Fig. 2). Both AL1 & AL2 must wake to the same mode.

Note: To wake to iPod, your iPod must be properly docked in the unit, or it will default to beep wake mode.

Note: When using the sound mode, the unit will set to the last sound listened to. If you wish to change it, first press the POWER button to turn the unit on, then press the SOUND button and toggle through until the sound of your choice is shown on the LCD display, then press the POWER button to turn the unit off.

3.When the alarm is sounding, press the POWER BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the unit to turn the alarm OFF. The alarm will come on again at the same time on the next day.

Note: If the alarm sounds for 30 minutes continuously it will automatically turn off and reset for the next day.

4.To stop the alarm from coming on the next day, press the AL1/AL2 button until the AL1 or AL2 icon disappears on the LCD display. If the icon disappears, this indicates the alarm is disarmed.

Note: If one of the alarm users still needs their alarm set, you will need to toggle through the AL1/AL2 button until the alarm that corresponds to their wake time is shown on the LCD display.

Snooze Operation

1.Press the SNOOZE/NAP BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the unit while the alarm is sounding. The alarm will go off for 9 minutes and then sound again. You may use this feature until you turn the alarm OFF.

Note: After you have pressed the SNOOZE/NAP button once, you may turn off the snooze function prior to the alarm activating again by pressing the POWER button twice. The alarm will come on again the next day at the same time.

Nap Operation

The NAP TIMER FUNCTION will wake you after a nap of 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes without the need to change your regular Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 settings.

1.If the system is playing audio, press the POWER BUTTON to OFF.

2.Toggle through the SNOOZE/NAP BUTTON until the corresponding time of your choice, 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes, shows on the LCD display.

3.Toggle through the AL MODE BUTTON until the corresponding icon lights on the LCD display for the wake mode of your choice: iPod, nature sound, radio, or beep (Fig. 2).

Note: To wake to iPod, your iPod must be properly docked in the unit, or unit will default to beep wake mode.

Note: When using the sound mode, the unit will wake to the last sound listened to. If you wish to change it, first press the POWER button to turn the unit on, the press the SOUND button and toggle through until the sound of your choice is shown on the LCD display, then press the POWER button to turn the unit off.

4.The alarm will sound to wake you up after the selected amount of minutes have passed.

5.To cancel the NAP TIMER, press the SNOOZE/NAP BUTTON, until OFF shows on the LCD display, which indicates the NAP function is disarmed.

Dimmer Control

Press the DIMMER BUTTON (Fig. 1) to adjust the backlight intensity of the LCD display.

Maintenance

To Store

You may leave the unit on display, or you can store it in its box in a cool, dry place.

To Clean

Use only a soft dry cloth to clean the enclosure of the unit. NEVER use liquids or abrasive cleaner to clean.

Modifications not authorized by the manufacturer may void users authority to operate this device.

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY

HMDX AUDIO sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below. HMDX AUDIO warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.

This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.

THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE SHALL

BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF

MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH

RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. HMDX AUDIO SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY

Antes de comenzar

Esta unidad emplea un sistema de bater??a de respaldo para proporcionar la hora y alarma en caso de una falla del servicio de electricidad. Si se desea el respaldo de memoria por bater??as se deben colocar dos bater??as ???AA??? (incluidas) en el compartimiento de las bater??as. Cuando la bater??a de respaldo est?? instalada, en el caso de una falla del servicio el??ctrico o si el cord??n de corriente directa viene desconectado accidentalmente, la pantalla LCD no permanecer?? encendida, pero la hora y el ajuste de alarma actuales permanecen temporalmente en memoria.

Para Retirar las Cubiertas

1.Con el dedo pulgar presione el cierre en el fondo del SoundSpa Fusion. Presione firmemente en forma que la cubierta se separe de la unidad (Fig. 6).

2.Vea las instrucciones sobre c??mo reemplazar las cubiertas en la secci??n PARA SUJETAR LAS CUBIERTAS.

Para Empezar

Ajuste de la Hora del Reloj

1.Oprima el BOT??N TIME SET (ajuste de la hora), ubicado en la parte superior de la unidad (Fig. 1); el d??gito de la hora empieza a destellar. Gire la perilla SET +/- hasta que la hora actual quede en pantalla. Acu??rdese de ajustar correctamente AM o PM (el indicador de PM es un icono en la esquina superior izquierda de la pantalla de la hora; no hay indicador de AM) (Fig. 2).

2.Oprima el BOT??N TIME SET otra vez; los d??gitos de los minutos empiezan a destellar. Gire la perilla SET +/- hasta que los minutos actuales queden en pantalla.

3.Oprima nuevamente el BOT??N TIME SET para salir del modo de ajuste del reloj o la pantalla dejar?? de destellar despu??s de 5 segundos, para indicar que la hora ha quedado ajustada.

Instalaci??n/Reemplazo de la Bater??a de Respaldo

1.Aseg??rese de que el adaptador de CD est?? conectado. De otra forma, el ajuste de la hora puede perderse durante el reemplazo de la bater??a.

2.Abra la tapa del compartimiento de la bater??a ubicada en el fondo de la unidad.

3.Coloque dos bater??as AA, asegur??ndose de que la polaridad positiva est?? dispuesta seg??n la ilustraci??n en el compartimiento de las bater??as.

4.Cierre la tapa del compartimiento.

Precauciones para las Bater??as

1.Use solo el tipo y tama??o de bater??as seg??n se especifica.

2.Cuando instala las bater??as, respete la posici??n correcta de las polaridades +/-. La instalaci??n incorrecta de la bater??a puede da??ar la unidad.

3.No combine diferentes tipos de bater??as (p. ej. alcalinas con cinc-carbono o bater??as viejas con nuevas).

4.Si no se usa la unidad por un largo per??odo de tiempo, retire las bater??as para prevenir da??os debidos a posibles goteos de las bater??as.

5.No arroje las bater??as al fuego. Pueden explotar o perder l??quido.

Para cargar su iPod

Seleccione el inserto correcto para su modelo particular de iPod de la tabla de abajo:

When you want to connect a different size iPod, remove the insert from the unit and replace with the correct size insert. Para retirar el inserto de la plataforma, ponga la u??a en la ranura en el inserto (Fig. 3) y hale suavemente hacia arriba. You must always use the appropriate size insert for your iPod. You may contact HMDX Audio Consumer Relations at 1-800- 466-3342 to order the correct insert for your iPod.

Note: Make sure you are using the correct insert for your iPod and that it is properly docked in the unit. Failure to do so may damage your iPod.

Para escuchar su iPod

1.Oprima el BOT??N POWER (encendido) de la unidad HMDX Audio (Fig. 1).

2.Alterne en distintas posiciones del BOT??N AUDIO (sonido) para escuchar el iPod (Fig. 1). El ICONO IPOD aparece el la pantalla LCD a la derecha del reloj, para indicar que el modo del iPod ha sido seleccionado.

Nota: Cuando el iPod est?? conectado a la plataforma en modo de espera (standby), empieza a producir sonido autom??ticamente una vez que el modo iPod queda seleccionado.

3.Oprima el bot??n PLAY/PAUSE (sonido/pausa) del iPod para cortar el sonido; oprima otra vez para resumir el sonido.

4.Gire la perilla VOLUME (Fig. 1) en la unidad para ajustar el volumen del sistema.

5.Oprima el o on your iPod to go to the next or previous track.

6.Para apagar la unidad, oprima el BOT??N POWER. El iPod seguir?? carg??ndose en la plataforma.

Para escuchar un iPod desconectado de la plataforma, u otros dispositivos de sonido port??tiles

Si est?? usando un iPod sin la plataforma de conexi??n, otro dispositivo MP3, u otro dispositivo de sonido port??til, puede escucharlo por el HMDX Audio C20 por medio del LINE IN ubicado al respaldo de la unidad (Fig. 6).

1.Conecte un extremo del Cable de Conexi??n (incluido) en el aud??fono o el enchufe de salida de su dispositivo de sonido y el otro extremo del Cable de Conexi??n en la entrada de la unidad, ubicada al respaldo de la unidad.

2.Oprima el BOT??N POWER (encendido) de la unidad para encender (Fig. 1).

1.Conecte un extremo del Cable de Conexi??n (incluido) en el aud??fono o el enchufe de salida de su dispositivo de sonido y el otro extremo del Cable de Conexi??n en la entrada de la unidad, ubicada al respaldo de la unidad.

2.Oprima el BOT??N POWER (encendido) de la unidad para encender (Fig. 1).

3.Alterne con el BOT??N AUDIO en la unidad hasta alcanzar el modo auxiliar. El ICONO AUX (Fig. 2) aparece el la pantalla a la derecha del reloj, para indicar que el modo auxiliar ha sido seleccionado (Figura 2).

4.Encienda y escuche su dispositivo externo de sonido.

5.Gire la perilla VOLUME (Fig. 1) en la unidad para ajustar el volumen del

sistema.

6. Para apagar la unidad, oprima el BOT??N POWER en la tapa de la unidad.

Naturales

Escucha del Radio

Antena FM

Extienda por completo la antena FM para la mejor recepci??n FM (no pele, altere o conecte otras antenas).

Antena AM

Presione la antena AM en aro en la base que se proporciona. Luego, enchufe la antena AM en aro en el conector ubicada en el respaldo de la unidad para lograr la mejor recepci??n AM (Fig. 10).

1.Oprima el BOT??N POWER (encendido) de la unidad para encender (Fig. 1).

2.Alterne en distintas posiciones del BOT??N AUDIO (sonido) para escuchar el radio (Fig. 1). El ICONO de RADIO aparece al lado derecho del reloj (Fig. 2).

3.Para seleccionar entre radio FM o AM, presione otra vez el bot??n AUDIO. El

icono FM o AM aparece en el lado izquierdo del reloj para indicar la frecuencia que ha sido seleccionada (Fig. 2).

4.Gire la perilla SET +/- de la unidad para sintonizar la emisora deseada (Fig. 1).

5. Gire la perilla VOLUME en la unidad para ajustar el volumen del sistema (Fig. 1).

6. Para apagar la unidad, oprima el BOT??N POWER.

Uso del Auto-Temporizador

Mientras escucha su iPod, los sonidos naturales, o el radio, usted puede ajustar el temporizador para que la unidad se apague autom??ticamente despu??s de un determinado n??mero de minutos.

1.Presione varias veces el bot??n TIMER (temporizador) hasta que aparezca la hora que eligi??, 15, 30, 45 ?? 60 minutos, en la pantalla LCD.

2.Para cancelar el temporizador, alterne el bot??n TIMER hasta que aparezca OFF (apagado) en la pantalla LCD.

Ajuste y Uso de las Alarmas

Ajuste de la Alarma1 o Alarma2 (individualmente)

1.Oprima el bot??n AL1/AL2 (Fig. 1). El ICONO AL1 o AL2 aparece en la esquina superior derecha de la pantalla LCD para indicar cu??l alarma est?? activada.

2.Oprima el BOT??N AL SET dos veces (Fig. 1); los d??gitos de la hora empiezan a destellar. Gire la perilla SET +/- hasta que la hora actual quede en pantalla. Acu??rdese de ajustar correctamente la hora del d??a, AM o PM (el indicador de PM es un icono a la izquierda de la pantalla de la hora; no hay indicador de AM) (Fig. 2).

3.Oprima el BOT??N AL SET otra vez; los d??gitos de los minutos empiezan a destellar. Gire la perilla SET +/- hasta que los minutos deseados queden en pantalla.

4.Oprima nuevamente el BOT??N AL SET para salir del modo de ajuste del reloj o la pantalla dejar?? de destellar despu??s de 5 segundos, para indicar que la alarma ha quedado ajustada.

Nota: Usted puede oprimir el BOT??N AL SET en cualquier momento para revisar el ajuste de la alarma.

5.Alterne el bot??n AL MODE hasta que el icono correspondiente se enciende en la pantalla LCD para el modo de despertarse que ha elegido: iPod, sonido, radio o pitido (Fig. 2).

Nota: Para despertarse con el iPod, su iPod debe estar apropiadamente conectado a la plataforma en la unidad, o la alarma quedar?? por defecto en el modo de despertarse con el pitido.

Nota: Cuando se usa el modo de sonido, la unidad quedar?? ajustada con el ??ltimo sonido que usted ha escuchado. Si desea cambiarlo, primero oprima el bot??n POWER para encender la unidad, luego oprima el bot??n SOUND y alterne entre las diferentes opciones hasta que la de su elecci??n aparezca en la pantalla LCD, luego oprima el bot??n POWER para apagar la unidad.

6.Cuando la alarma est?? sonando, oprima el BOT??N POWER en la unidad para apagar la alarma (OFF). La alarma volver?? a sonar nuevamente el d??a siguiente a la misma hora.

7.Para evitar que la alarma vuelva a sonar al d??a siguiente, oprima el bot??n AL1/AL2 hasta que el icono AL1 o AL2 desaparezcan de la pantalla LCD. Si el icono desaparece, esto indica que la alarma ha sido desactivada.

Nota: Si la alarma suena por 30 minutos seguidos, se apaga autom??ticamente y vuelve a programarse para el d??a siguiente.

Ajuste de la Alarma1 o Alarma2 (juntas)

1.Oprima el bot??n AL1 /AL2 (Fig. 1) hasta que los iconos de AL1 y AL2 aparecen en la esquina superior derecha de la pantalla LCD para indicar que ambas alarmas est??n activadas (Fig. 2).

Nota: Usted no puede cambiar la hora de la alarma cuando AMBAS (BOTH) han sido seleccionadas. Si desea cambiar la hora de la alarma para cualquiera de las dos alarmas, siga el paso 1 en la secci??n Ajuste de la Alarma 1 o Alarma 2 (individualmente).

2.Alterne el bot??n AL MODE hasta que el icono correspondiente se enciende en la pantalla LCD para el modo de despertador que ha elegido: iPod, sonido, radio o pitido (Fig. 2). Ambas, AL1 y AL2 deben activarse actuando

en el mismo modo.

Nota: Para despertarse con el iPod, su iPod debe estar apropiadamente conectado a la plataforma en la unidad, o quedar?? por defecto en el modo de despertarse con el pitido.

Nota: Cuando se usa el modo de sonido, la unidad quedar?? ajustada con el ??ltimo sonido escuchado. Si desea cambiarlo, primero oprima el bot??n POWER para encender la unidad, luego oprima el bot??n SOUND y alterne entre las diferentes opciones hasta que la de su elecci??n aparezca en la pantalla LCD, luego oprima el bot??n POWER para apagar la unidad.

3.Cuando la alarma est?? sonando, oprima el BOT??N POWER (Fig. 1) en la unidad para apagar la alarma (OFF). La alarma volver?? a sonar nuevamente al d??a siguiente a la misma hora.

Nota: Si uno de los usuarios de la alarma todav??a necesita su alarma ajustada, usted tiene que alternar el interruptor AL1/AL2 hasta que la alarma que corresponde a su hora de despertar aparezca en la pantalla LCD.

Funcionamiento de Alarma Repetida

1.Oprima el BOT??N SNOOZE/NAP (alarma repetida/dormitar) (Fig. 1) en la unidad mientras la alarma est?? sonando (Fig. 1). La alarma se apaga por 9 minutos y luego suena otra vez. Usted puede usar esta funci??n hasta apagar la alarma.

Nota: Despu??s de oprimir una vez el bot??n SNOOZE/NAP, usted puede apagar la funci??n de alarma repetida antes de que la alarma se active otra vez, presionando el bot??n POWER dos veces. La alarma volver?? a

sonar nuevamente al d??a siguiente a la misma hora.

Funcionamiento de la modalidad de Dormitar

La Funci??n NAP TIMER (temporizador de dormitar) le despertar?? despu??s de una siesta de 15, 30, 45 o 60 minutos sin necesidad de cambiar los ajustes normales de su Alarma 1 o Alarma 2.

1.Si el sistema est?? tocando m??sica, oprima el BOT??N POWER para apagarlo.

2.Presione varias veces el bot??n SNOOZE/NAP hasta que aparezca la hora que eligi??, 15, 30, 45 ?? 60 minutos, en la pantalla LCD.

3.Alterne el bot??n AL MODE hasta que el icono correspondiente se enciende en la pantalla LCD para el modo de despertador que ha elegido: iPod, sonido de la naturaleza, radio o pitido (Fig. 2).

Nota: Para despertarse con el iPod, su iPod debe estar apropiadamente conectado a la plataforma en la unidad, o la unidad quedar?? por defecto en el modo de despertarse con

el pitido.

Nota: Cuando se usa el modo de sonido, la unidad quedar?? activada con el ??ltimo sonido escuchado. Si desea cambiarlo, primero oprima el bot??n POWER para encender la unidad, luego oprima el bot??n SOUND y alterne entre las diferentes opciones hasta que la de su elecci??n aparezca en la pantalla LCD, luego oprima el bot??n POWER para apagar la unidad.

4.La alarma sonar?? para despertarle despu??s de que haya pasado la cantidad seleccionada de minutos.

5.Para cancelar el temporizador NAP, presione alternativamente el bot??n SNOOZE/NAP hasta que aparece OFF en la pantalla LCD, que indica que la funci??n NAP ha sido desactivada.

Control del Reductor de Luz (dimmer)

1.Oprima el bot??n DIMMER (Fig. 1) para ajustar la intensidad de la luz de fondo de la pantalla LCD.

Mantenimiento

Para guardar

Puede dejar la unidad en exhibici??n o puede guardarla en su caja o en un lugar fresco y seco.

Para limpiar

Para limpiar la carcasa de la unidad use s??lo un pa??o suave y seco. NUNCA use l??quidos o limpiadores abrasivos para limpiar la unidad. Las modificaciones no autorizadas por el fabricante pueden invalidar el derecho del usuario a operar este dispositivo.

Atenci??n: Este equipo ha sido ensayado y probado y se ha comprobado que cumple con los l??mites de los dispositivos digitales de la Clase B, seg??n la Secci??n 15 de las Normas FCC. Estos l??mites han sido dispuestos para proporcionar una protecci??n razonable contra las interferencias da??inas en las instalaciones dom??sticas. Este equipo genera, usa y puede irradiar energ??a de radiofrecuencia y, si no se instala y usa seg??n las recomendaciones, puede causar interferencias da??inas a las comunicaciones radio. Sin embargo, no hay garant??as de que dichas interferencias no se produzcan en una instalaci??n particular. radio o TV causada por modificaciones no autorizadas de este equipo. Dichas

modificaciones pueden anular el derecho del usuario al uso de este equipo.
