Assembly Precautions

1.Install only according to these instruc- tions. Improper installation can create hazards.

2.Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work gloves during assembly.

3.Keep installation area clean and well lit.

4.Keep bystanders out of the area during installation.

5.Do not install when tired or when under the influence of drugs or medication.

Use Precautions

1.This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with this item.

2.Use for intended purpose(s) only.

3.Inspect before use; do not use if parts loose or damaged.

4.Application of this product must meet State and DOT requirements for vehicle lighting.

5.Turn vehicle off and disconnect the bat- tery before installation.

6.WARNING: The brass components of this product contain lead, a chemi- cal known to the State of California to cause birth defects (or other reproduc- tive harm). (California Health & Safety code ?? 25249.5, et seq.)

7.Maintain product labels and name- plates. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or miss- ing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement.

Assembly Instructions

Read the entire Important Safety Information section at the beginning of this document including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.

Installation

1.The planned mounting area must provide a flush fit to the bottom of the

Lights (1).

2.Remove the lens from each Light and use the base of the Light as a template to mark mounting holes.

3.Ensure that the installation area has no hidden electrical or stereo lines before drilling.

4.Drill the holes, then secure each of the Lights with two Long Screws (2). Replace the lens.

5.See Wiring Diagram, page 4.

6.Connect the wire of each of the Lights to the Lead Wire (8) using a Wire Splice (4). Insert the two wires into the holes of the Splice and use pliers (not included) to push down the metal tab. Close the cap to secure.

8.If the Lights are to work independently of the vehicle???s lights, mount the Switch at a convenient location with the two Short Screws (3).

9.Connect the Lead Wire to the middle terminal of the Switch (7).

10.Connect the Fuse Holder (5) to the top terminal and connect to a 12V power supply.

11.Connect the Ground Wire (6) to the bottom terminal of the Switch and the other end to ground.

12.This product is intended only to be mounted on the top of a vehicle???s cab.

13.Installation of these products must comply with DOT regulations and all applicable State and local laws.

7.If the Lights are intended to be used along with the vehicle???s main lights, connect the lead wire to the headlight switch positive terminal.

Harbor Freight Tools Co. makes every effort to assure that its products meet high quality and durability standards, and warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 90 days from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, repairs or alterations outside our facilities, criminal activity, improper instal- lation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or con- sequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness.

To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the merchan- dise. If our inspection verifies the defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
