1 Attic Roof

???Slide the attic roof onto the top of the dollhouse until it ???snaps??? in place.

???Insert the peg at the top of the door into the hole at the top of the doorframe. Bend the door slightly and insert the bottom peg into the hole in the bottom of the doorframe.

???Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the toy.

???Loosen the screws in the battery compart- ment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door.

???Insert three ???C??? (LR14) alkaline batteries.

Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life.

???Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

Battery Safety Information

Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage:

???Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).

???Insert batteries as indicated on the battery compartment door.

???Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak.

???Never short-circuit the battery terminals.

???Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.

???Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

???Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.

???If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

Place a figure in any of these locations. Match

the hearts on the back of the figures, cat and Power/Volume Switch tape recorder with the hearts in the chairs.

???For best performance, when placing a figure in a chair, be sure its back is in contact with the chair.

???After a figure finishes speaking, remove the figure from its chair for a few seconds, then place it back again to hear more phrases.

Power/Volume

Switch

???Locate the power/volume switch inside the dollhouse near the door. Slide the

switch to either on with low volume ; or on with high volume . You will hear a chime and the ready light will turn on.

Hint: If your child does not actively play with this toy for a few minutes, it turns off auto- matically (sleep mode) and the ready light turns off. Slide the power/volume switch

to the off position o then back on again to restart.

toy, slide the power/volume switch to the off position o.

???Place the family and their accessories inside the house. Close the two halves of the house together and press so that they ???snap??? securely.

???After the dollhouse is snapped closed, the product can be carried by an adult. Grasp the dollhouse by the attic floor.

???Wipe the toy with a clean cloth dampened with a mild soap and water solution.

???Do not immerse the toy.
