If you are using a cigarette lighter receptacle and the LED still does not light, check the cigarette lighter circuit to see if the lighter heats up. Push the lighter into the receptacle until it latches. If the lighter does not heat up and pop out after 30 seconds, you may have a defective lighter or a blown fuse in the lighter circuit. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the fuse location and replacement procedure.

4.Before using the adapter, unplug all items connected to the adapter. Connect your products one at a time to see if one of the products is causing the fuse to blow. If the fuse blows immediately after inserting the product's adapter plug into an outlet, replace the fuse in the adapter and have the product repaired.
5.If the green LED turns off after normal operation, the surge and spike protector has experienced a powerful surge and has protected your equipment. In doing so, the protection circuitry has been depleted and the surge and spike protector must be replaced to continue protecting your equipment.

If RadioShack determines that damage to Connected Equipment is covered, RadioShack will reimburse, up to the Equipment Limit amount defined herein, to the original purchaser of the surge protector the lower of the: (a) repair charges; (b) purchase price of comparable replacement equipment; or (c) the original purchase price of the Connected Equipment. In addition, in the event of a covered product defect during the Warranty Period, RadioShack will, at its option, unless otherwise provided by law:
(a) correct the defect by surge protector repair without charge for parts and labor; (b) replace the surge protector with one of the same or similar design; or (c) refund the purchase price of the surge protector.

New or reconditioned parts and products may be used in the performance of warranty service. This Limited Warranty and Connected Equipment Guarantee does not cover: (a) damage or failure caused by or attributable to acts of God, abuse, accident, misuse, improper or abnormal usage, failure to follow instructions, improper installation or
maintenance, alteration, lightning; (b) any repairs other than: (i) surge protector repairs provided by a RadioShack Authorized Service Facility; and (ii) reimbursement of the cost of initial repairs to Connected Equipment performed by a service center authorized by the manufacturer of the Connected Equipment; (c) consumables such as fuses or batteries; (d) cosmetic damage; (e) transportation, shipping or insurance costs; or (f) costs of product or Connected Equipment removal, installation,
