Before you begin

Installing the battery

???Unlock the battery compartment with a screwdriver. Remove the compartment door.

???Observe the polarities and place two AA batteries (not included) in the compartment.

???Replace the compartment door and lock it in place using a screwdriver. Be careful not to over tighten the screw.

This product is

designed to resist small accidental

splashes which may

occur on kitchen or bathroom counter tops. However, do not submerge or expose this

product to the direct spray from a bathroom shower or to heavy rain. It is not recommended to use this product outdoors.

???Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

???Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

???Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

???Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

???VOLUME+ ??? Adjust volume

LIGHT ??? Switch on/off the display backlight

ON ??? Turn the unit on

OFF ??? Turn the unit off

Left view

RECALL ??? Recall a stored radio station

STORE ??? Store a radio station

AM/FM ??? Switch between AM/FM band

TUNING ??? Select radio frequencies; select Preset location; select station in Recall mode

Bottom view

HR ??? Enter clock set mode; adjust hour in clock set mode

MIN ??? Enter clock set mode; adjust minute in clock set mode

Clock

Setting clock manually

1.Press HR or MIN to enter clock set mode.

2.Press HR to set the hour.

???The clock is in 12 hour format. The PM indicator appears to

show PM time.

3.Press MIN to set the minute.

4.Press ON, OFF, AM/FM, TUNING , RECALL, STORE or

???VOLUME+ to con???rm and exit clock setting mode.

Radio

Turning on/off the Radio

Press ON to turn on the radio. Press OFF to turn off the radio.

Selecting radio band

In radio mode, press AM/FM to select the radio band (AM/FM). The selected radio band icon lights on the display.

Tuning the radio

Press TUNING to adjust the radio frequency. Press and hold

TUNING for two seconds to automatically search for the next

available station.

Built-in AFC

The Built In Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) helps to reduce drift

on FM reception and keeps the radio locked in on the FM station to which it is tuned.

Station presets

To store a station as preset:

1.Tune to a radio station.

2.Press STORE.

???Preset location shows on the display.

3.Press and hold TUNING to select a desired preset location (P1 - P10).

4.Press STORE.

???You can save up to 10 preset stations.

To recall a preset station:

1.In radio mode, press RECALL.

??? The existing preset station number shows on the display.

2.Press TUNING to select a desired preset station.

Display backlight

Warranty information

Press LIGHT to switch on/off the display backlight.

Note that backlight will turn off after 10 minutes.

When the Display

Backlight fails to illuminate, this is

probably a sign that

your batteries are getting weak, and they should be replaced soon.

12 Month Limited Warranty Applies to RCA Clock Radios

AUDIOVOX ACCESSORIES CORP. (the Company) warrants to the original retail purchaser of this product that should this product or any part thereof, under normal use and conditions, be proven

defective in material or workmanship within 12 months from the date

of original purchase, such defect(s) will be repaired or replaced with reconditioned product (at the Company???s option) without charge for parts and repair labor.

To obtain repair or replacement within the terms of this Warranty, the product is to be delivered with proof of warranty coverage (e.g. dated bill of sale), speci???cation of defect(s), transportation prepaid, to the Company at the address shown below.

This Warranty does not extend to the elimination of externally generated static or noise, to correction of antenna problems, loss/interruptions of broafast or internet service,

to costs incurred for installation, removal or reinstallation of product, to corruptions caused by computer viruses, spyware or other malware, to loss of media, ???les, data or content, or to damage to tapes, discs, removable

memory devices or cards, speakers, accessories, computers, computer peripherals, other media players, home networks or vehicle electrical systems.

This Warranty does not apply to any product or part thereof which, in the opinion of the Company, has suffered or been damaged through alteration, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, neglect, accident, or by removal or defacement of the factory serial number/bar code label(s). THE

EXTENT OF THE COMPANY???S LIABILITY

UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED

TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT

This Warranty gives you speci???c legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Recommendations before returning your product for a warranty claim:

???Properly pack your unit. Include any remotes, memory cards, cables, etc. which were originally provided with the product. However DO NOT return any removable batteries, even if batteries were included with the original purchase. We recommend using the original carton and packing materials. Ship to the address shown below.

???Note that product will be returned with factory default settings. Consumer will be

responsible to restore any personal preference settings.
