To use the speakers on battery power, to install the batteries, open the battery cover at the back of the speakers by pressing the two catches, place the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment, and close the battery cover by pushing it in place. During long periods where the speakers are not used, remove the batteries to prevent damage from battery leakage.

Use the speakers
To connect the speakers to the phone or audio device, plug the speaker cable into the connector on the device. The speakers can be used with compatible Nokia adapters. To use the speakers with a Nokia adapter, connect the adapter to the device and the speaker cable to the adapter.
To switch the speakers on or off, press the power key located at the top of the speakers. When the speakers are switched on, the green indicator light is on.
To set the volume, use the slider at the top of the speakers. If the sound level of the speakers becomes too low when using battery power, change the batteries.

Care and maintenance
