Instructions for Use

???Plug corded recharger into 120-volt outlet.

???Plug small end of recharger cord into massager???s base. Red light on QUAD Extreme will illuminate ??? indicating that unit is in charge mode. Allow unit 3.5 hours to fully charge.

???Remove QUAD from charging base. Massager will run 45 minutes on this charge. ???To activate massage, press power button once.

???Lightly apply 4 massage nodes to the area you wish to massage. Massage the area for a short period of time and move to another area. Never massage the same spot for longer than 3 minutes. CAUTION- as stated in the ???IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS??? section of this manual, never use this appliance near the eyes or other sensitive areas.

???After completing your massage, turn quad off by depressing power button once. NOTE: Operation of longer than 15 minutes is not recommended and may cause

overheating.

Maintenance

To Clean

Be sure to unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe. Never allow water or any liquids to come into contact with the handle. Never use abrasives, detergents or cleaning agents to clean.

To Store

Unplug the appliance from the outlet and allow it to cool before storing it in its box, or a clean, dry place. Do not wrap the recharging cord around the unit. Do not hang the unit by its recharging cord.

HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below. HoMedics warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.

To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, mail the product and your dated sales receipt (as proof of purchase), postpaid, to the fol- lowing address:

HoMedics does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate HoMedics in any way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by mis- use or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer???s recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics.

This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.

THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS

OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE

COMPANY WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. HOMEDICS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CON-

Instrucciones de uso

???Enchufe el cargador con el cord??n en un tomacorriente de 120 voltios.

???Enchufe el extremo m??s peque??o del cargador en la base del masajeador. La luz roja del QUAD Extreme se enciende ??? indicando que la unidad se est?? cargando. Deje que la unidad se cargue por completo en 3-1/2 horas.

???Retire el QUAD de la base-cargador. El masajeador trabajar?? por 45 minutos con esa carga.

???Para activar el masaje, presione el bot??n de encendido una vez.

???Aplique suavemente los 4 n??dulos masajeadores sobre al ??rea que usted desea masajear. Masaje el ??rea por un breve per??odo de tiempo y luego cambie a otra ??rea. Nunca masajee el mismo lugar por m??s de 3 minutos. ADVERTENCIA: como se indica en la secci??n ???PRECAUCIONES IMPORTANTES??? de este manual, no use nunca este artefacto en o cerca de los ojos u otras ??reas muy sensibles.

???Una vez terminado el masaje, apague el Quad presionando una vez el bot??n Power. NOTA: El funcionamiento por m??s de 15 minutos no es recomendado y puede causar

un recalentamiento.

Mantenimiento

Para limpiar

Aseg??rese de desenchufar la unidad y dejarla que se enfr??e antes de limpiarla. Use un pa??o suave y h??medo para limpiarla. Nunca permita que el agua ni otro l??quido entre en contacto con la unidad. Nunca use productos muy abrasivos, detergentes o agentes de limpieza.

Para guardar

Desenchufe la unidad del tomacorriente y d??jela enfriarse antes de guardarla en su caja o en un lugar limpio y seco. No enrolle el cord??n el??ctrico alrededor de la unidad. No cuelgue la unidad del cord??n el??ctrico.
